about me
[ev-uh n]: rock in Hebrew

I am an Aries baby, born on 17 April 2013 at Thomson Medical Centre in the good hands of Dr Yvonne Chan. I love to lie on my tummy and do head lifts to amuse Mummy and Daddy.

about my parents

My daddy is a typical Gemini who can laugh heartily at one moment and become the incredible Hulk at the other.

My mummy is a kiasu Aries who wants me to learn one foreign language, one musical instrument and one martial arts ALL before I turn 21.

*really can't decide who's scarier*

Not so fat now...

Having heard from Dr Chan at the last three visits that I am a bigger-than-average baby, Mummy & Daddy expected to hear the same when we stepped into Dr Chan's clinic this morning.

To their surprise, Dr Chan actually said that I had self-corrected myself and now, at approximately 2.1kg, I am considered an average baby! Apparently, I had my growth spurt earlier than the usual babies so it seemed that I was growing too fast. Truth be told, I suspect that it was the exercise I had on Wednesday that reduced my weight a little. =P

Dr Chan then continued by saying that my growth should not slow down any more from now since I should be getting ready to greet the world. Do you see how confusing grown-ups can be?! First, you tell me not to grow, then you tell me to grow. What do you really want from me? >.<

Dr Chan also measured my head, noting that the average circumference at birth is 33cm. And guess what? My head is already 31cm! Mummy got a little worried then but Dr Chan assured that my size is still fine. She continued with a few checks here and there, and pointed out my chubby cheeks to Mummy & Daddy before commenting that my mouth is so squashed up by my cheeks that it is now the same size as my nose. (-_-") Why do I get this feeling that she really enjoys making fun of me??? It's a good thing that I'm a forgiving baby - laugh at me all you want, I know that I'll come out looking cute and lovable!
