It's a Boy!
Mummy read in BabyCentre that I can sense light now and that gave Daddy the ingenious
idea of shining a very very bright light at Mummy's tummy to see if Mummy can feel me move. I did kick a few times but Mummy didn't seem to feel anything. =(
That little exercise made me extra sleepy but I did promise to do some acrobats previously, so I wriggled my legs and hands a little when I saw myself in the monitor when Mummy and Daddy went for the routine check-up at Dr Chan's.

Mummy had gone for the Chorionic Vilius Sampling (CVS) test about 3 weeks ago so Mummy and Daddy knew that I'm a boy. But to reassure them, I thought I should show off my anatomy - that way Mummy and Daddy can start shopping for my presents with a peace of mind! So when Dr Chan moved her transducer over to my lower body, there's my "rocket"! (It's really very clear, isn't it?) There's no doubt about it now!

61mm and growing...
At 13 weeks, I have officially crossed over the embryo stage into the fetal stage! I can now make sucking movements and even squirm! I was really sleepy when Mummy and Daddy went for the routine check-up though - even when Dr Chan prodded Mummy's tummy with the transducer, I didn't budge a single bit. I did hear Daddy teasing Mummy that I'm as lazy as her! Ooops! Sorry Mummy, but when a baby's tired, a baby's gotta sleep. Not to mention that your tummy is really warm and cosy! Maybe I'll do some acrobats the next time we meet! >.<

Baby is 22mm now!
I'm 9 weeks now! Dr Chan told Mummy and Daddy that I'm growing well - in fact, I'm quite a tall baby!

Baby is 8mm and has a heartbeat!
Mummy isn't feeling all so well and doesn't seem to have much of an appetite these few days. I'm glad though, that she brightened up when I turned up in the scan, tiny but most positively, growing. The most amazing part was when Dr Chan placed the mouse cursor over my little heart and suddenly, there was the sound of my heart beating! (I think Daddy even teared a little when he heard it!)
